KKK K04-001 on stock A3 manifold?

I have this turbo i got for free. Needs renovating. I've been told it fits the stock manifold on the A3, and should be bolt on with a different inlet pipe. Not sure how much truth there is to that. I already have a K03s, with a turbo back miltek. Not sure how much of an upgrade it would potentially be, or if it's even worth it.
Anyone have any experience with that particular turbo?

It will fit right in there, downpipe will fit too. More "pull" in the higher rev range.

Just don't skip the mapping to get the most out of it, probably end up in limp mode all the time if you don't map it. Not sure if a bigger MAF and intake pipe will be needed.
