Towbar on 8V A3 Etron sportback 2016

Hi there!
I want to retrofit the swivel tow bar on an A3 E-tron sportback model 2016 (8V).
As there are many models, prefacelift and postfacelift, I don't know which are the correct part numbers and what would be needed to complete the retrofit.

(Following list will be updated once I know all the parts)
Parts needed:
8v4800495 - Towbar with electric swing
5Q0907383 - Trailer module
8W0959511 - Operating switch
N91173001 - Bolts [x4]
8P0010526 - Sticker
8K0010562 - Sticker

- Bracket for trailer module
- Diffuser

There is some confusion on the trailer module, there are different Index letters (N/E/G/J).
Not quite sure what the difference is and if they are vehicle specific.
Info that I have found:

• W/O index - till 26/5/2014
• Index E - 27-5-2014 - 22-6-2015
• Index J - 22-6-2015 -

This would suggest that I would need a index J trailer module. My car is manufactured in 2015, but model year 2016.

How can I check if my car has been pre-fitted with some harness for the trailer hitch?

Is the car type approved for towing? Check your manual as I'm not sure if it is, as the spec varies from country to country. If it is not then you would be driving without insurance.

Yes it is, on the registration it states 1400kg.
As of 2015 Q2 they got the type approval.

Any info on the diffuser?
They cut mine fitting a westfalia towbar to my 150 tdi.

The diffuser on an e-tron seems to be different. I have no info on that part, yet.
