Boost pipe quick remedy, just need a green gasket I think is : 3C0145117F

Desperation:
82FFA2A2 0AE7 4790 832C 3BC8EE5588BC 51216B16 CDF9 4EF2 87AB B149C2D1D719

2mm Pilot hole and screw:
5C846297 EF5A 4122 A98F 5B0132DF86AE A2015130 9327 450E 8513 9C0EE1E0E7FC

Angle grinder at a negative angle to prevent a chamfer which would allow it to pop off again:
4759DDC8 4952 4690 BC22 09C79CB71442 71441678 97B5 4DFF 8A97 9C8213A277CE E8AC3812 FE35 4E2F A891 B4702E832104

Screws left long so it doesn’t just pop out and go into the engine:
BF73DAB4 E6C2 4335 904D 9A1503E7F1E1

Without buying an alloy coupler, I'm sure this won't wear down a Steel bolt

agree the thought is there however it cannot.

See the final photo. The entire steel head would have to snap off

will change it soon it's only £30 :D

Needed to get to work, it popped off yesterday on the way back

Usual trick is to do it with some tie wraps. One either side of the metal part of the hose and three connecting between either side. This will keep any boost hose on if done correctly. Fixed my mates 1.9PDI like this over 18 months ago and hose is still on. Before this it was popping off at least once a week.
Or if you have suitable jubilee clips you can use those.

Thanks I will be reinforcing like this when I the replacement turns up, mine is on the plastic neck of the inter-cooler outlet

My car isn't worthy of an Alloy inter cooler investment
