Panal air filter for audi a3 8v

Look in to getting a new panal air filter for audi a3 8v just look to se what everyone opinion is to what air filter. Just looking at cheap mods that I can do at but remember am not a mechanic your ideas are more than welcome many thanks. And be safe everyone

I have been trying to find a panel filter for my 1.4tfsi but can’t seem to find one to fit. So would be good to see people’s replies

If you want the best made, buy a BMC. If you want a cheap one, buy any of the others.

Absolute rule of thumb , to allow more air to flow the structure has to be more open , but alows tons of crap through !

Just do a simple google of BMC vs K&N and see for yourself. They’re far superior. Piper cross are just junk compared.

yip, the general consensus is they let more air in along with more dirt. The only real difference is one is cleanable. Dyno tests show little to no improvement.
