Audi A4 2016 subwoofer upgrade

Hi guys

Wondering if somebody could help.

I am looking to replace the standard Audi subwoofer to a separate subwoofer powered by an external amp.

I just wanted to know if anybody has done this before and has any information on how to do this?
I noticed the parcel shelf subwoofer has two wires going into it, can I tap into them for my audio feed?

Your help in this would be much appreciated as I can't handle the terrible rattling sub anymore .
