Hi all, hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this Coronavirus pandemic.

I need some advice regarding remapping. I have been speaking to two different mappers, one has said he will map my faulty lambda sensor out and the other has said they wouldn't do this and suggest replacing the lambda sensor and leaving it in place.

Can anyone offer some insight/pros and cons of mapping the lambda sensor out? If there is no detrimental effect then it makes sense to get rid, so I don't have to replace it in the future.

To give context, I'm planning on doing the EGR, DPF delete as well as the swirl flaps so it makes sense to pay for one map rather than having to go back and forth.

If however, there are some negative effects then I'll retain it.

Thank you.

Assuming it’s Diesel, removing the Lambda how do you expect the engine to compensate?

normal dpf and egr deletes remove all sensor EGT and pressure sensors except Lambda the pre-turbo EGT

Bud change the lambda, can't see why you wouldn't tbh.
