Good morning Audi people
I have just found a great way of removing the anti glare coating off the MMI screen using Meguiars Plast RX.
If like myself your screens coating is starting to wear off I found the above tip for removing it completely as it really annoyed me seeing scratches on it.
I cant claim to this being my idea(read it a while ago now online somewhere)but it was very easy to do and the results are fantastic.
Just putting this out there to help others if required and as a bonus Halfords are selling a bottle of it for £8.
Cheers Paul

I also used that successfully but then discovered toothpaste also does the trick. After cleaning I bought and added a new anti-glare screen protector. I took the LCD out of its metal frame and got a made-to-measure exact size. Looks great and much more durable.

I thought I was going to have to use it due to a mark .

But gave it a wipe with a damp microfibre first with success .

Antiglare for a reason , use lesser methods first .

I did try to clean it first but the previous owner must of cleaned it with a brillo pad by the look of it,so off with the coating it was.
I can deal with the glaring but not the scratching

Once seen a TVR with birdpoo removal with a brillo .

What possesses some people..
