Hello,

I'm driving a 2013 A4 B8 2.0 TDI and by now I've had it long enough to be comfortable modifying it.

The first step will be new wheels, going from 16" to 18".

I already did some research and anything up to +35 to +45 should fit no problem, but the should is what worries me. I don't want to buy new wheels to either stick out too much or rub.

My car is has stock suspension and I intend to go for 245/40/R18 wheels that are 8 inches wide and have a ET35 offset.

Has anyone fit such wheels on his B8 and were there any problems or did it fit perfectly, as it should?

I've got an S4 on standard suspension (so lower than yours) and I'm running 19-inch S5 wheels (which are 8.5 inches wide and have an offset ET32 instead of standard ET43) and 255/35x19 tyres. They fit fine, no rubbing, and they look great (see avatar pic on left).

Thanks, that sounds great.

I did a lot of calculations and measurements, but I also needed a real-world example to see if it actually works. If ET32 fits as good as it does on your picture, then I should have no trouble with ET35.
