Sat nav not working

My nav was working fine but now won't take me anywhere. Drove home and it followed where I was. Now I'm home it thinks I'm where I was when I started which is a half an hour drive away. It comes up with this error image. I bought the map update from ebay months ago but has been fine,just all of a sudden it now says it a route can not calculated. It also doesn't start properly now and when it's loading the maps I have to eject the sd card and then replace it for it to sttatt Any ideas guys can't find anything online

Reboot your mmi
Google will help which 3 buttons to press depending on your model

Did you update the firmware aswell as the maps? Could be dodgy SD card

I updated the firmware yeah. It's been working for months though without any issues. Then I think I went onto demo mode, turned it on to try it, turned it off and it just won't work. Satellites are found, the map follows me so maps are there, but doesn't find a route! Googled it and checked forums and can't find any solution! This one reason why I was asking you about the after market android system, as I will be using the nav on the phone with that right??

It has to work, maybe it’s the wrong combo for your car? On mine you press them for an instant then it restarts when you let go

Pull the unit and disconnect the quadlock, should do the trick
