Aftermarket exhausts

The boy racer in me would like my A6 Avant to sound like an Aston which has a 'gentleman's' exhaust sound IMHO.

Has anyone fitted beefier, louder exhausts and do these kits exist for the A6 ?

Well yes, but a bit too 'Saturday night Citroen Saxo owners club night out-ish' perhaps. Just a tad more refined would do. I guess also that is a different exhaust to mine as I have the 3.0 diesel.

That certainly looks a lot better, but it sounds awful. Do diesels sound better with aftermarket exhausts?
