I picked this motor up about 2 weeks ago. Car went into regen mode by flashing the dpf light then went into limp mode (glow plug light flashing).

Cars just gone 130k and it looks like the original DPF.

I got the car for a bargain knowing that it may possibly need a new DPF.

I have bought a replacement and getting it fitted.

My question is, to experienced folks, is there anything other than the dpf that I should look out for ie sensors etc.

TIA
Scotty

yes i believe its often a pressure sensor you may not need the dpf, just search on here.

Thanks for the reply Sloppy.

Stripped the DPF off and low and behold the back side is melted in 4 sections

Fingers crossed once it's back on and values are reset it should be back to normal.
