Traction (or lack there of)

Hi.
I have a 2015 manual s3 saloon. I was at a roundabout waiting to pull out and I had to do a nice quick acceleration from stationary.
Unbelievably my car seemed to bog down and spin the wheels for a second or two before gaining traction . Traction control light was on too.

One of the reasons I keep buying s3’s is the fact that they never lose traction. My old s3 8p literally couldn’t wheel spin!

surely this isn’t normal??

I’ve no idea to be honest. I’ve just had the car a couple of months. 50k miles on the clock

Then take it to an VAG indie and get the Haldex oil changed and the filter cleaned. Audi won’t bother to clean the filter, so don’t bother with them.

As said check haldex and look at tyres that are on the car.

Haldex pump is probably guffed. New pump and fitting kit (including oil) here for about 220 quid
