Help Please tune 2 air

So when I bought the car the previous owner had left the above device fitted, it isn't too bad and it does work for playing my Spotify through the mmi. Main problem I have with it is that it will randomly disconnect from my phone and then take ages to hook back up with it!

Anyone recommend an alternative that is a bit more stable?
Should have mentioned that it sits in the glove box cradle that was designed for an ipod and plugs into that socket.

Which time 2 air model is it as they're very reliable usually, try another handset?

I'm not with the car at the moment but IIRC I did try to find some info on the device but tune2air is all I could find...funny you should mention handset as I was clumsy with mine the other day so I have another phone on it's way next week.

Try another family member or friends handset & advise, sold numerous ones of tune 2 air not one comeback.

Many thanks, will do. I reckon it's most likely the handset as you suggest, I even left the phone in the glove box right next to it and it still does it every 10 to 20 minutes..
