I recently purcahsed a 10 plate a3 1.6tdi. Everything was ok with the car apart from the central locking on the key not working. You could only open and close the doors with the actual key. The previous owner did tell me this had only happened when he had changed the drivers door wiring loom as they are a common fault on these cars. Ive changed the door lock actuator which hasnt made any difference. And now the doors wont lock or open with the key. Does anyone know what the voltage should be for the pins in the plug. Or does anyone know what the issue could be before I have to break the bank and get audi to look at it. Cheers all
Google how to syncing key to car that might sort it had similar issue with my 8p its done it twice
