Taking delivery of a 40TFSI BE saloon this month and looking at the user manual shared on another thread.

Noticed the section on Pre-Sense.

The vehicle comes as standard with Pre-Sense city and the configurator suggests it works up to 53mph, which is what I've always assumed my current B9 did.

But the manual, hints that it may apply auto breaking and respond to pedestrians up to 50mph, but then states,

"Up to speeds of approximately 155 mph
(250 km/h), the system may react to the following situations:
—A vehicle driving ahead clearly applies the
brakes
— When approaching a vehicle ahead that is clearly traveling more slowly
— When approaching a stationary vehicle"

So, is it still active over 50mph?

Is this just a get out clause by Audi in case it doesn't react over 50mph?

As I understand, it's meant that up to 50 mph it can monitor and brake for pedestrians and cars, but after 50 it can only monitor for cars.
