Sony head unit parking brake bypass

Hi, i am moving away from my pioneer dab da230 dab and going to sony ,i have purchased the ax5550d .
On the pioneer i just cut the earth on the pioneer harness and then cut the green parking brake wire and taped it all togethere and that worked ,what i would like to know as anyone done it on a sony hu if so how ...Thanks

Updating to just say that connecting the green parking brake wire to the earth on the sony power harness worked ..

Or just bolt it to the chassis of the radio. That works too
