Hi guys,

I have a Audi (2015 S3) I recently had it mapped stage 1 (live map/dyno) (2months ago) and everything been great my tick over idle has been sat at 800-850 rpm. In the last couple days it’s been sat at 700rpm and the only thing I have done is an oil change (Castrol edge TT/LL 5/30). The car still runs fine but can’t get my head around the idling dropping rpm on tick over. Has any one experienced similar issues with this model? Isit safe to idle that low?
Cheers

Mine idles normally at around 800-900. If i turn AC and the heaters off it drops right down to around 750.

Does this coincide with warmer weather and quicker engine warm up meaning lower revs at idle?

Colin
From cold it sits at normal idle 800-850 soon as it’s warm and it’s had a blast it’s down to 700. I don’t think it’s weather related as I drove it today and it was 3c
