Hi all, I'm replacing the thermostat, two questions hopefully someone can help with:

I need to undo a 12 point screw holding the metal coolant pipe going from the thermostat to the Oil Cooler. It seems to just be holding it to a bracket but it's stopping me from pulling the pipe out of the thermostat. Does anybody know what size this screw is as I don't have any 12 point / triple square bits so need to make sure I purchase the right one.

Second question, I had to grind the easier to reach 12 point screw off because it was completely threaded (hopefully the second one isn't as it's hidden behind alternator wires) and whilst grinding, I hit the Oil Cooler tank which now has a very small cut / leak. Is it worth removing and repairing / replacing this or do you think I can bodge a repair whilst it's on the car by covering the slight cut on the metal with something (epoxy putty or similar leak prevention solution)?
