Hand break released, but still saying ingaged and beeping.

MY A3 sline 2008 2.0tdi has had new springs lowered, brembo disc mintex pads. 4 new tyres balanced and tracking. New acuator. Very happy .
BUT have an annoying beeping and hand break engaged message, have checked fluid,lid etc. When I slam the hand break down it goes off, but then comes on next time I drive Grrrrrr. Is there a switch under the hand break? Has anyone had this, New audi owner much appreciated

There should be a little popper switch underneath the handbrake lever. The connector probably just needs a little wiggle.

Yes thought it might have one just didn't know where it was thanks
If I slam it down it goes off cheers.
Will give it a go tomorrow can you get to it through the back console, removing astray?
