Hello all, first post here and hoping for some magical fixes or at least to know whats the cause of my problems.
I have a 2004 A4 Cabriolet, 1,8T with 165,000kms. The car has been in covered storage for the last two years with the battery disconnected. I've just put it back on the road but seem to be experiencing several electrical gremlins.
1) The mode switch does not work at all, the clock is stuck in 2003
2) The key fob will not operate the central locking, I've tried the two key thing, the one key suggestions from the forum nothing works, the battery is strong and there is a new battery in the fob.
3) The key will lock both doors and the red indicator light flashes, again on both doors. When I unlock the car using the key it will not unlock the passenger side door, I have to open it with the inside door release handle.
4) The service light comes on when you turn on the ignition and I cannot reset it, none of the suggestions from the forum work.
