Black on black on black isn't for me.
How come people are saying the green is a free choice? Doesn’t come up that option for me and says it’s £575
Kemora only free colour
Yup just been flicking through the colour options.
Cannot find a colour that I like that suits that front end.
The black gloss grill surround completely dominates the front end.
It almost reminds me of when you see a car with a bumper off a different coloured car, just looks odd.
From side on it also gives the impression the overhang from the front of the tyre to the nose tip is longer than the 8V

I can imagine that will be the case pal imoThe other worry is when it comes the time to punt it that nobody will want it because it's bold...
Daytona is (or used to be) a nice colour, but it bores my socks off.
I've got an M4 in mineral grey, which is pretty much BMW's version of Daytona.... a nice paint colour but now as interesting as watching paint dry.
Choosing from the colours on offer for the RS3 feels like a case of picking the lesser of eight evils....
Audi salesman: "And that's your order complete Sir. Out of interest, why did you choose that colour?"
Me: "It's the one I hated least."
Is it worth £2400 tho that's the questionlooks very similar to mica
Absolutely notIs it £2400 lovely tho that's the question
Could be worse. You get three with the golf RAbsolutely not
The exclusive paint price is ridiculous but I do agree the standard paint choices are very limited.
Think back to when we were offered misano red, sepang blue, suzuka grey, floret silver etc.
Now its black, grey, white or some other dodgy colours
Yes I feel out of the colours available I would just be settling for a colour rather than really wanting it unfortunately .Absolutely not

At least there is a decent blue to option .Could be worse. You get three with the golf R

ha ha. That would be easy for me... Lapiz Blue againCould be worse. You get three with the golf R

But then it does count against it (Golf) as I already have a Golf R in that colour. I am sort of keen to have a different shade or colour for next car.
I'm going round in circles, as all these tales of long wait does put me off Exclusive but then my choice seems to be Tango Red or Daytona Grey. As mentioned above, I start thinking what could be best when come to sell on and I looked into which colours were most for sale on Autotrader which was were I got my rough figures for each colour from. Red isn't a popular choice, so it rather puts me off and sends me to Daytona. Which is a good pearl effect grey and as Snake says looks good woth black grille....but then I think I would only really be happy with Sepang or similar, so its back to Exclusive.
Yup looks very nice in white l must admit.....one l looked at..had a panoroof,19s,Full leather heated/cooled seats it was only £39,995 2 months ago it lasted 5 days on the forecourt.....New MK8R looks well in white in my opinion.

I read comments about how colour choice will/could affect resale price/value **** me gently.....what a pile of pants that train of thought is....just like this forum attract all tastes in paint preferences the same mindset applies to potential used car buyers
Knock yersel oot kid as far as am l concerned only desperate folks will buy/take a RS3 8Y given how **** the spec/options are but you done that with yer 8Y S3 ergoI'm not ***** either way. It's what I want so it's what I've ordered and if it does ****** up resale interest then there's always the dealer who will take it back.
I've had White, and Daytona and went from that to Navarra, so logically what else is there to go for.
Red, nah.
Yellow, nah.
Black is nice but nah
White again nah
Turbo nah.
etc...

The spec options fit what I wanted so I'm not desperate, and wasn't desperate when I bought my S3 either. I only wanted Sports Exhaust and Matrix Headlights. Have ended up speccing up the extra Comfort and Sound pack for Bang and Olufsen and would've had pan roof if my budget stretched to it so I'm happy with it. right? talks about me being all over the place with my thoughts on sound yet hates Turbo Blue so buys a TTS in that colourbut you hate white with a passion pmsl

Chester Today, 3 out of 4 available, I'd go white again, it just looks more aggressive, I'm still pulled towards Golf 8R, my spec would be about £48K, DTD would drop that to £41500, it's £18 K cheaper than a Vorsprung, that a fair wedgeha ha. That would be easy for me... Lapiz Blue again

Not a fan of the Golf R looks.. that front end and what have they done to the rear lights?!Chester Today, 3 out of 4 available, I'd go white again, it just looks more aggressive, I'm still pulled towards Golf 8R, my spec would be about £48K, DTD would drop that to £41500, it's £18 K cheaper than a Vorsprung, that a fair wedge
I too would have gone white and i nearly did but decided to wait for the RS3 sound.Chester Today, 3 out of 4 available, I'd go white again, it just looks more aggressive, I'm still pulled towards Golf 8R, my spec would be about £48K, DTD would drop that to £41500, it's £18 K cheaper than a Vorsprung, that a fair wedge
From a detailing point of view yes white is very unrewarding plus l don't like white saloons but on a hatchback with lots of black trim and a panoramic roof to break up the white/contrast yes they can look goodbut you hate white with a passion pmsl

Oh it’s tempting especially when you can add the individual options. I’ve got used to the exterior of new Golf R but it’s the interior I have most of my problems with. I don’t like stuck on screen look (although Golf no where near as bad as some cars) also lack of buttons with so much on the touch screen.Chester Today, 3 out of 4 available, I'd go white again, it just looks more aggressive, I'm still pulled towards Golf 8R, my spec would be about £48K, DTD would drop that to £41500, it's £18 K cheaper than a Vorsprung, that a fair wedge

Exterior of golf R is ok, but the interior switchgear and controls…OMFG!
