Check out page 174 and 175 of your owner’s manual (handbook). They’re all listed on that. If you can’t find it on those pages, look for ‘drive select’ in the index.

As mentioned above, the manual probably explains it much better than any of us can.
But roughly speaking ‘comfort’ is smoother and ’dynamic’ is harsher / sharper in theory.
Full on Sport mode ain’t for everyone day to day, therefore Individual allows you to tailor each component to suit yourself. I’ve not got my 8V S3 now but I think there’s an Auto setting too allowing the car to suit your driving style as you go.

When I had the S3 I kept everything in dynamic the entire time!

What I really wanted to say was RTFM but I won't be so rude, Google if you don't know that one ;)

found this info via Google butS3 doesn't have Allroad/Lift Offroad/RS Modes

Primary Audi Drive Select Models

  • Comfort - Softer suspension feel and less steering wheel resistance work to dampen road feel. Electronic throttle and transmission control shift at lower RPMs and to smooth out inputs.
  • Auto - A balanced setting great for everyday use that focuses on balancing comfort and performance to accommodate varying driver needs.
  • Dynamic - Precise control and responsiveness are prioritized in this mode. Suspension dampening is stiffened and ride height is lowered in adaptive air suspension models. Throttle response is increased with shifts taking place at higher RPMs and steering feel is stiffened to allow for more precise input.
  • Individual - Fine tune a comfort or performance focused mode, or save your own combination of settings - within reasonable limits - in this driver customizable mode.

Additional Audi Drive Select Modes

  • Allroad - In select models with this mode, air suspension will increase ride height and information on the vehicle’s incline and steering angles are displayed on the MMI display. Suspension is also stiffened to handle rough road surfaces.
  • Lift / Offroad - On select models such as the fully equipped Q7, an Offroad mode lifts the adaptive air suspension to its maximum height for additional ground clearance. This mode is intended for the most uneven terrain at low speeds.
  • Efficiency - A mode designed to optimize fuel or electricity consumption and maximize mileage. Throttle, transmission, differentials, adaptive cruise control and even climate control parameters can be managed to reduce mechanical resistance and improve efficiency.
  • RS Modes - Performance models receive additional customizable performance modes that allow drivers to create characteristic profiles for various driving conditions.

Audi drive select

Only a small minority of motorists can afford the luxury of having three cars in their garage, one each for their changing needs: comfort, agility or dynamic driving. There is however a single car which satisfies all three of these: the Audi Cross Coupé quattro.
Audi drive select makes it possible to preselect three highly individual configurations for the engine, gearbox and the magnetic ride shock absorbers. The result: a car that can be enjoyed in three completely different ways and that offers a huge potential in the field of efficiency.
The basic setting is "dynamic" mode. This is automatically activated every time the engine is started and generally meets the expectations that Audi drivers have of their car with respect to the dynamic yet comfortable driving feel that is typical of the brand.
"Sport" mode on the other hand gives the Cross Coupé an emphatically sporty feel. The shock absorbers have a firmer setting, the engine responds more spontaneously and the S tronic gearbox moves its shift points to a higher rpm range. Ideal conditions for active driving pleasure on winding roads.
Then again, if the driver selects "efficiency" mode on the MMI, the engine and S tronic gearbox respond more gently to commands from the accelerator pedal and shift paddles. This setting is perfectly suited to relaxed driving and at the same time opens up huge potential for effectively reducing fuel consumption and thus emissions. In efficiency mode, the air-conditioning system is switched off and is only reactivated if the driver so wishes. A completely new interpretation of the cruise control system also moves the vehicle with minimum fuel consumption, allowing the set speed to drop to a certain lower limit in favour of lower fuel consumption, for example on moderate uphill stretches on the motorway.
Efficiency mode also makes use of route data from the navigation system and reduces speed early to make driving as economical as possible by avoiding the need for heavy braking when approaching a tight bend or (in conjunction with adaptive cruise control) a vehicle driving ahead.
In this way, under normal operating conditions and combined with a forward-looking driving style, Audi drive select makes it possible to make fuel savings of more than 20 percent compared to dynamic mode.
