audi a3 2.0tdi 170

hi my 2007 audi a3 2.0 tdi 170 Quattro on a cold start up it ls idling rough and when i out my foot down on the accelerator it struggles to get upto 3k revs and i take my foot off it and do it again it’s back to normal there is white horrible smoke comes out the exhaust untill engine has heated up all the glow plug light is flashing sometimes untill engine is warm then i turn it off and back on then it goes away been told it’s a few different things won’t let me upload a video for some reason?

It’s your DPF (the sensor) or exhausts/intake cam timing

i used a dpf foam cleaner it cleaned it all sorts of smoke but the next morning done the same thing am don’t know tho
