Hello is there any way I can switch on a chime or dinger to remind me when i have left my lights on as this is a recurring problem for me.

There should be one as standard, might be a malfunction, Or someone previously has used VCDS to turn it off.

I'm not even sure I've known a way to disable the chime on a B7 tbh, so its more than likely either a door lock issue or the cluster has a fault.
Ideally you 1st need to put on diagnostics & do a test on the chime itself in instruments module, if it doesn't work in test, then its a cluster repair or replacement usually, unless someone knows the chime disable coding.
