Hey guys,
Does any of you know how to find the exact gearbox I have on the car? I have a log that says:
Address 02: Auto Trans (J217) Labels:| 0BK-927-156.clb
Part No SW: 4G0 997 749 B HW: 0BK 927 156 AM
Component: 0BK 30RTDIRdW H16 1001
Revision: --H16---
Coding: 000001
Shop #: WSC 00000 000 00000
ASAM Dataset: EV_TCMAL551211 002022
ROD: EV_TCMAL551211_002_AU48.rod
VCID: 3A7B87EFBD5F90540D-806E
I know it's a ZF 8HP, but don't know the version. It's definitely not 55, as those seem to only go up to 550Nm.
Also, I was thinking, since when I changed the oil (gearbox, converter, transfer box) and did not do re-adaptation, is it safe to do it on my own? I read that you just need to reset the values, then drive with a limited throttle for a few kms. Few days ago, for some unknown reason, the gearbox felt really rough, while changing speeds, then the next day it's all rainbows and sunshine.
