Greasing the steering universal joint - bottom of intermediate shaft

Hi All
My steering/suspension clunks at times
So I want to grease the bottom end of the intermediate steering shaft


when I look in my driver footwell I have this, but the boot just doesn’t budge, and doesn’t even seem flexible to bend and spray grease down behind??

Any help appreciated

I'd be concerned as to why its rusting tbh before you start spraying grease anywhere.

14 years of kicking it with wet shoes I expect
It’s minor surface rust

Have you got any tips on how to locate the other end of the steering shaft? I had a quick look under the car recently when changing the oil, but couldn't see where the shaft was. Videos on youtube all deal with LHD cars
