USB 12v Point

Morning Guys,

I want to try and free up my 12v point, I have bought a 12v to 5v twin usb port adapter and I want to wire it up directly.

(I have a dashcam and a footwell light kit which are both USB)

Is it easy to get at the back of the 12v port in the front console or I am better getting some piggy back fuses for the fuse box?

Has anyone already done this and could they please let me know which fuse point in the fuse box I could use and where did you get ground from?

Are they normal fuses or mini blades ?

I used normal size fuses for mine

Just hard wire the dash cam from the fuse box with a fuse spur!

Sorry to sound dumb but do you have any pictures ?

I suggest opening the glove box and having a look at the fuse board. Take off the flap to the left of it and you'll see there is plenty of space for wiring in there.
