Brake switch

Hi! Please don't laugh at me.. I have an A3 2007 S Line sportback 2.0 tdi. The brake lights aren't working so I want to change the brake switch.
The switch isn't by the brake pedal and I can't find it.
Can anyone help please..

It could be behind the servo in engine bay, some have a switch there, but ideally you need to do output tests to confirm the brake lights actually work from the ce module 09 1st, then you can also check brake recognition in abs 03 I suspect.
