Oil level not reading

Hi guys,
Just had a major service done at a trusted garage and they advised me that they couldn’t get the MMI system to display the current oil level after he had replaced it.
They’ve drained it and filled it by the book but even after letting it warm up it still says the same thing. I’ve given it a 20 min drive, and checked it but still gives the same warning.
i have a 30 min commute tomorrow so will check then .. but anyone else had this issue.

I looked on an active Audi forum and found the fix for this.. open and close the bonnet firmly and then make sure the engine is warm and ignition on but engine off and it works!
