Hello everyone ,

My Audi a4 B9 been damaged by the storm Eunice . Front and rear windscreen broken and many scratches . I have called my insurance company and described them what happend and they told my i can not use only the windscreen cover to replace the windows but instead i have to make a claim to repair all the car and i will lose the NCB
Does this sound right ? I do not understand why i can not use the windscreen cover policy only ?

its only the front windscreen that that insurance covers anyway normally... so depending on what details you gave them it makes sense they'd say you need to just take the repair claim and get it all fixed I guess... sense to them anyway but they are insurers so youre screwed either way.

If you just want to fix a crack or broken windscreen then I dont see how they can say no.
