Hello! newcommer to audi here! I’ve bought a downpipe for my tdi and I just simply wonder if anyone have any tips with replacing the cat on those cars. Can’t find anything about b8 2.0 tdi downpipe install on the internet so I’m asking here. I’m currently struggling with getting some of the sensors off since there are parts that is mounted to the motor itself that are blocking my way from screwing them off. I need to use a «special» tool for them that locks around the whole nut since they won’t budge with anything else. I’ll post a picture so you can see what I’m talking about. I also wonder if it’s best to take the cat out from the bottom or the top. Theres no way I can fit the cat through the top unless I take off some parts from the motor. If you have any tips please send me some!

If you can, remove the part from the car first, and then remove the sensors afterwards.
Obviously, you'll need to unplug the sensor wire.
