20" on Audi A3 and lowering springs

I am considering going up to 20 inch tires for the summer set, anyone here have any experience with this. Does it drive like a pig or is it OK?
Also, I dont want to use spacers, or atleast I didnt want to, so do you guys know what "ET" to use?
And one last thing, I want to lower it further, But I dont want to go all crazy, I think I now have -20 from standard, this is H&R, anyone have any recomendations there to lower a furter 10mm or so?

20 x 8.5 et 44 is my favorite. you dont need lower
