Audi B7 avant boot says open

Hello fellow audi users,

I have a 2006 audi a4 B7 model avant. I believe I have a common issue with the dash saying boot open. I have recently replaced the boot latch mechanism and the dash still says its open. The mechanism works fine.

Is there anything else I can try to fix this error?

Hi all look good. You wouldn't happen to know if the mirco switches that send the open close signal to the dash are they located in the latch mechanism or the handle?

No problem think it's a trip to the auto spark for me then
