Navigation cannot be reached

I have navigation on my 8p the kind with the cd thing in the back on top of the sub in the left.As the title says it stopped working out of the blue.When i press the key "nav" next to the hand break nothing happens.It doesn't work in my country but i want it working (i hate to have errors show in vcds)

to clarify it doesn't work because the CD with the maps is for differend country

That’s what I was thinking. That indicates a 8V to me

Isn't the answer simple then? Get a CD with maps for your country.

Sounds like the very very old CD based nav that displays directions on the dis only. Personaly. I would rip it out, they don't make the discs anymore for that system. Yor best of going aftermarket, and replace the head unit.
