Egr delete on a 2009 a4 tdi with 145k on clock. Yea or no ?

Hi guys cars showing the egr valve fault
P040300 Exhaust Gas Recirculation

It’s been cleared but comes back on straight away. , One company won’t do an egr delete due to the age and miles however another company will.
What’s your thoughts guys ?? Do the delete or just get someone to replace the egr valve and clean the throttle
