Bit of conflict with a Transit van at a service station today resulting in a slightly crumpled front wing on my A6. - initially not a happy bunny as you would expect, but this might actually be a blessing in disguise as the front and rear bumpers need sorting and there are a few chips around the car. Not exactly been putting it off, but if it's going to the body shop, may as well get it all done, polished and sealed.
What differences are there between my SE (saloon) and an S line in regards to the bodywork?

Sorry to hear that. The basic bodywork is the same so you can swap the bumpers over. However there are some things to consider. Firstly pre and post facelift bumpers are not interchangeable as the front and rear light units are different shapes. Also if your car is a pre facelift then it will have foglights located in the front bumper. The S-Line did not have these but it may be that the panel that is used on the S-Line bumper when adaptive cruise control is fitted will allow you to mount the foglight in place of the radar sensor. With the facelift this is not an issue as the separate foglights were not on the facelift SE.
