Will be selling my mk6 gti soon and looking to get back into an Audi and B8.5 saloons are in my budget. I don’t do the mileage for a diesel so I have been looking at the 1.8 tfsi 170bhp. I would prefer the 2.0 but they seem a lot more rare.
The 1.8 seems quite slow though is 170bhp/320Nm enough? Could always remap I guess. Also do these engines suffer from timing chain or oil consumption problems like the earlier B8’s? Thanks
