Low oil pressure light (intermittent) only in D, not S.

I have a 2015 a3 premium.
76k miles.

Low oil pressure light comes on when driving low rpm around town, not at idle and not on the interstate, when car is in "D". But even then with the car in "D" at idle and on the interstate the light stays off. Its only pops on for a few moments when driving around town and its goes off, comes back randomly...but only in "D", not "S" mode

If i drive with the car in "S" mode it will not come on at all. Idle/interstate/around town.

I've searched extensively for the solution or anyone with a similar problem and found nothing.

I'd recommend you change the oil pressure switch/sensor for a decent brand part and see if the fault remains. Better to start with the cheaper parts before diving into the more expensive deep end or should that be bottom end i.e. crank shells, oil pump etc
