Just back from a 1600 mile round trip to southern France. Trouble-free apart from an oddity with the Audi satnav, and I wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar, or could offer any explanation.
On the way down I broke the journey at two hotels, let’s call them A and B. I pre-programmed the locations into the satnav before leaving home. Worked perfectly.
On the way back I left location B and re-entered location A from the satnav memory. Everything looked ok. Stopped for a short break mid-way, then carried on following the satnav directions. 50-odd miles short of location B the satnav led me off the correct route into the middle of nowhere, taking me to a remote country house, and told me I had arrived at my destination! Re-entered location B from satnav memory, and directions then took me back onto the correct route, and eventually to location B.
I’m mystified as to what went wrong, and I’d be very interested if anyone can offer an explanation.
