I have a carlinkit 4.0, got it with $85. And have been using it for a year, it’s great for me. Cplay2air seems to be a reseller of carlinkit. Have not heard about ottocast yet.

No. This is only a dongle which converts your wired connection into wireless. What you need is not a dongle but a CarPlay module. You can search for CarPlay modules or CarPlay retrofits.
