I'm brand new to this forum and haven't much knowledge on car audio systems. I've just recently purchased a 2011 A3 Sportback SE for my second car and I am delighted with it. However, I am very disappointed with the audio quality.
After a bit of research, I uncovered that the SE trim models didn't come with rear speakers, just two front speakers and two tweeters. There isn't any wiring for speakers to go in there either.
Can somebody guide me to what I need to purchase to add some new speakers to the rear doors? I have purchased an Xtrons unit, so it will be compatible, unlike the current Chorus stereo I have installed. Is it a good investment to purchase a better amp/sub too? Any recommendations for good speakers?
