Hi all, I am experiencing an issue on my S3 8p already posted on this forum back in 2015 however I am not sure if I will get a response and there doesnt appear to be a confirmed fix on the thread.

The previous thread is in the below link - I am experiencing the exact same issue and I have taken my car to two Audi Specialists and main dealer with no confirmed diagnosis - I am hoping someone can help shed some light as to what it could be or maybe fixed or had this issue before.

Vibration/Resonation Noise comes if I am accelerating/coasting between 2200-2400 it is quietest but heard in 3rd gear and boars like hell in 6th. Once I am past 80mph which is at 2400-2500rpm the car returns to normal sounds. 6th gear at 70mph is around 2200-2300 it boars and is very prominent drone/vibration noise.

Propshaft doughnut, prop bushes, bearings, exhaust, numerous things tbh.

If you drop into coasting, neutral when it's making the noise, does it immediately go away when revs drop & when coasting, neutral & you apply revs to 2200 does it come back, if you are coasting neutral & you put back into gear (D or 5th, 6th at that speed) does it come back.

I will double check and reply to you when I have tried this, I know as soon as I enter that specific RPM range 2200-2400 rpm ( 3rd gear upwards) the resonation/vibration kicks in . As soon as the revs go below or above this specific rpm range the noise stops in any of the gears.

Not sure you can record the noise or not, maybe try & post up.

Yes I will try and record the noise as best as possible - will post in the next few days. The videos I have the noise isn't that clear.
