19x8.5 et28 - Yay or nay?

Lazy post alert. Set of wheels came up for sale locally and thought I might take a punt on them as they look nice and they’re cheap, however they’re 19x8.5 et28. Current wheels are 19x8.5 with an eventual offset of 38 with a spacer, and I think they sit quite nice. An extra 10mm doesn’t sound like much but I have a feeling they won’t look right, bit too much poke I’m thinking. Can anyone tell me definitively if these will poke beyond the arches at the front? Or even better, does anyone have a photo of this exact spec fitted?

Do you have pics? i wouldn't underestimate 10mm - you don't want to be knocking hardware such as brakes due to offset.

Are they RS5 rotors buy any chance? An amazing looking wheel.

I had 8,5*18 ET29s in my last A4 B8 Avant and they were spot on.

Brakes won’t be an issue, the offset is lower than I currently have to there will be more clearance than before. It’s the poke I’m worried about.
I’ve actually no idea what the wheels are off, picture attached.

Yeah they look ok, fronts look to be right at the limit though before poking beyond the arch. Can I ask what tyre size you were running?
