I haven't used my VCDS for a while now (HEX-VS) and managed to trigger an airbag warning while installing my new android head unit.

On opening VCDS it asked me to update to the latest software version (22.10) which I did.
Now when I try and connect to the car, VCDS launches as usual, however I get a Gateway Error when every I try and run a scan or select a module.

I'm not sure of its an OBD port error or a issue with the VCDS Software or Hardware. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh copy of the VCDS software, but no change. Screenshot of error below.

Anyone encountered similar or any suggestions?:readit:

VCDS Error

So, just remembered I had my old VDCS cable in the garage, plugged that in and it worked straight away without any issues, so looks like I may have a HEX-V2 cable issue - and now I think of it, I'm pretty sure it when I launched the VCDS application, it also prompted for an update to the firmware on the cable adaptor.

[Update] Thought I better check the V2 cable one more time - and typical - Its now working! :wtf:

Yeah was about to suggest a fw update is also possibly needed.
