Hi - I just purchased an A6 C6 3.0tdi quattro auto 240bhp less than 2 weeks ago. Took off this evening in it, 15mi into my journey and I loose boost completely with the engine preheating light flashing on the dashl. My Carista OBD brought fault code P0299 up. There was no warning before hand, I.e. smoke or whining. It just lost boost all of a sudden, I barely made it up the hill I was on to park up. Obviously the first step is to get it properly diagnosed, but does this sound like the turbo has gone? Where’s the best place to buy a replacement turbo? Is it worth upgrading whilst I’m at it? The car is currently stage 1. Thanks
