This is my first post on here, I bought a 58 plate a3 8p sport back, the intention was to have it as a daily that I can tinker with, however as it turns out there’s a lot more issues with it than first thought.
On clutch engagement/ when partially engages there is an awful rubbing/screeching sound, so at some point I can imagine a new clutch and flywheel will be needed.
Also runs terribly when cold. I’ve scanned it and it has p2015 fault although check engine light is not on.
So… new manifold ordered & injector seals on their way. While I’m in there I plan on walnut blasting the intake valves to remove carbon. I have borrowed a shot blaster for this that I’ll clean out and fill with walnut shell.
I was curious though as to why I have a p2015 fault but no MIL on?
