Hi guys - I’ve just picked up a 2018 S3 Sportback and driven it home (approx 30 miles). When I turn the ignition off, I get a buzzing/humming noise from behind the dash - it’s not loud or high pitched. Is this normal? It seems to carry on for a while. Many thanks

There is an auxiliary elec coolant pump that runs after ign is turned off to help cool the turbo so it might just be that and/or the relays that control it which you are hearing.
Thank you. It stayed on for about two minutes and then went off. From what people seem fine be saying, as you say it’s the Aux coolant pump but should it stay buzzing for two minutes? Thanks for your reply…
