Incase any1 whats to know, if u Display ur Number at any side off ur car and not in the Centre off your front grillie u will incur £100 on the spot fine ( applies defo to Scotland )
As u can all gather i was hit with this fine by the Traffic Police Scotand

So why doesn't Alfa Romeo get fined?

I asked that question and was told Alfa's where fine as thats the way they are manufactured and DVLA accept it .

There aren’t any rules about the placement of the plate as long as it can be clearly seen. Doesn’t matter whether it came from the dealer like that or you did it yourself, it’s legal or it could not be done by the dealer/brand in the first place.

I’ve seen a picture of your car before and I’m sure it had a small stick on plate that wrapped round the bumper. That’s more likely what it was for as there are rules on the sizing and spacing of the characters on the plate.
