Yeah it's the same on BM's. I'd expect the mileage to service to decrease depending on how you drive the car.

Yes it is called "long life" servicing. The irony is it does quite the opposite for the "long life" of the engine.
If you are planning to keep the car then do yourself a favour and get it switched to annual servicing or get an indi (or DIY) to do an oil change between the ones at the dealer.
If you are not planning to keep the car then just do what everyone else does and do the cheapest thing and let the second/third/fourth etc owner find out how well oil performs after 2 years.
