Hey guys my siren is faulty (drawing too much current) I have purchased a new unit but I can't find the siren in the engine bay does anyone know where I can find this?

No idea, but don't immediately assume it's in the engine compartment. I previously had a Civic Type-R and the siren was inside the interior trim behind the rear seat!
I would also suggest that people who do know the answer to this question may well be unwilling to say in public for the obvious reasons that it might compromise the security of other people's cars. You might be best biting the bullet on this one and taking it to Audi.

Took me the whole of 5 secs to google it on an 8p model so might be the same on 8v and isn't going to compromise anything if so easy to find out .
On the 8V model the alarm horn is located under the scuttle panel which VAG call the plenum chamber cover. Pop the wiper arms off and it's under the plastic cover held in place with a single nut.
